The Swarmit team had the pleasure of attending Atlassian Team ’25 and we walked away seriously inspired. This year’s event was all about helping teams collaborate faster, smarter, and more intuitively than ever before, thanks to the power of AI, automation, and smarter service management.
Atlassian unveiled Rovo, a new AI-powered teammate designed to make work easier across the board. It’s not just a tool, it’s a shift in how teams interact with their information and processes.
More importantly, its available in all paid Jira, Confluence and JSM subscriptions!

One of the standout highlights was how Loom is being integrated across the Atlassian ecosystem. It’s not just for video anymore, now it’s an AI-powered communication tool.
This combination brings a whole new meaning to “show, don’t tell.”

Atlassian also introduced Collections! These are compiled experiences that bundle the right apps, templates, and practices to help teams start faster and stay aligned. Whether you're focused on day-to-day collaboration or big-picture planning, these Collections bring structure without slowing you down.
Teamwork Collection - Designed for teams that live in the details, the builders, doers, and planners.
Strategy Collection - Designed to support teams driving business impact, whether you're setting OKRs, managing initiatives or aligning cross-functional programs.
This is a part of Atlassian's System of Work which provides a blueprint for organisations to make it easy for all teams to collaborate and move in the same direction, fast.
We also got a first hand look at Atlassian’s new Live Docs, a feature that allows real-time, multi-user editing with no publish button required. Updates are instant and collaborative, making document workflows more fluid than ever.
At Swarmit we support teams across various industries, therefore the updates to HRSM offering are a game changer for people teams:
Atlassian also introduced a brand-new Customer Service Management (CSM) app, designed to provide modern support experiences with minimal setup. Serving as the customer support with access to Rovo agents this could seriously enhance the customer experience reducing SLA’s. We’re watching this space closely, it’s shaping up to be a valuable asset for customer-facing teams.
Cloud Deployment Options: Atlassian also announced the introduction of new cloud options for teams that need to meet strict security requirements and regulatory obligations which range from FedRAMP compliant to completely isolated…
Platform Apps: On top of all the great features already announced Atlassian also added pre-loaded apps to connect and align every team, these include: Home, Goals, Teams, Analytics, Rovo. All included in the Jira, Confluence and JSM cloud subscriptions.
Data Centre clients are also receiving some new features/tools.
Team ’25 highlighted that the future of teamwork is intelligent, integrated, and AI-enhanced. With tools like Rovo and Loom, and smarter service management solutions, Atlassian is equipping teams to not only move faster but to work better together.
If you're curious how these innovations can fit into your Atlassian environment, we’d love to chat. Whether it’s setting up Rovo automations, optimizing HRSM workflows, or exploring the new CSM app, we’re here to help you make the most of what’s next.
Better together….. Impossible Alone.
